Two Coats for Spring

I am obsessed with jackets. I love how a good coat can really elevate a basic outfit. In honor of spring starting Monday, I thought I’d take the opportunity to talk about spring jackets!

Posting about fashion is something I’ve always wanted to incorporate into the blog, but have been nervous to do. I always worried whether people will like what I have to say! I mean, what makes me an authority on anything fashion? Lord knows I didn’t even develop any sort of style sense until I was well into my adult life.

Then I realized, all these self doubts will get me no where! The fun thing about clothing is that everyone has their own take – as long as you’re confident in what you wear, there is no right or wrong!

Long jackets are so flattering. Trenches, for example, can take make the simplest outfit look elegant. This lightweight pink coat is the perfect addition to this all black outfit. A simple pair of leggings and a black Ralph Lauren tee is made instantly glam with the addition of this coat. Plus, comfort and style combined, I am all here for that!

This cream jacket is another great staple item. It is a double breasted blazer, but is thick enough to keep you warm in this brisk spring weather. I love wearing this out on spring evenings or making it more casual for a fun, everyday look!

I’ll keep working on my poses, in the meantime, you can shop the looks below!

Look one / / Pink Trench, Black long sleeve, Black leggings, Franco Sarto Over the Knee Boots (old, similar here).

Look two / / Β Cream Blazer, Ann Taylor Blouse (old, similar hereΒ and here), DKNY Jeans, Sole Society Brown Boots
