Nude lips are perfect for any occasion – work, a night out, a weekend errand! Everyone should have at least one nude lipstick in their makeup collection, and I’ve rounded up four of my favorites in my current rotation for you here. And yes, I know, these don’t include any pinky-nude shades – because THAT is a separate category (and post) of its own.
Hi. Yes. Give me everything about this. This is the color I probably use most often in my day-to-day because it’s very subtle. Kathleen Lights is a youtuber that I can’t get enough of and she created this color with colourpop cosmetics. Plus, this lippie stix is only $5. It also comes in a matte, gloss, and satin lip too! So you can get this amazing color no matter your lipstick preference.
I think this may have been the first nude lipstick that I ever owned. This one by Rimmel London is a bit darker, with true brown undertones, but still subtle enough for everyday wear. It claims to be long lasting, but I usually have to apply a multiple times throughout the day. Still, for under $6, there’s no reason not to have this in your collection.
The “creamy matte” nude isn’t so matte, but still, it’s a great color. Clay Crush has a subtle orange undertone and I think it would be a great compliment for any light to medium skin tone. Plus, it’s a great dupe for my all time favorite nude lip (last but not least in this list) and a fraction of the price at under $8.
MMMMMmmmmm. . . that’s how I feel about this lipstick. Mac’s Velvet Teddy is the most phenomenal nude lipstick. It’s matte, long wearing, and a necessity in any lipstick collection. It’s definitely more expensive than the rest, but you are getting better color payoff and longer wear. Plus, I’ve owned this for over a year and haven’t needed to repurchase it yet (but just know, I will repurchase this 100 times over).
What are your favorite nude lipsticks you own?! Leave me a comment and I’ll be sure to check them out.
