At My Vanity \\ Charlotte Tilbury Airbursh Flawless Finish Powder

So because of lighting issues, this post clearly isn’t taking place at my vanity. Still, I wanted to share my thoughts with you on the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro Powder (WHAT A NAME!!). I was on the hunt for a really good face powder this summer so that I could transition away from foundation on the hot summer days (like I talked about here).

I’ve tried a few drugstore powders that I like, including this Maybelline Matte Powder. I’ve also tried this Benefit Flawless Face Powder Foundation, but I found it a little cakey. This summer, I really wanted to find something a little more high end since I was going to be using it every day.

I have to be honest, I wanted to LOVE this because it had so much hype. Some top beauty influencers that I respect swore up and down that it was their favorite powder. While I do like it, I think I went into this relationship expecting a littleΒ too much out it. Don’t get me wrong, it has a lot of perks: it’s not too cakey, it applies really smoothly, and it does seamlessly blend with the skin. HOWEVER, with a name that includes the words airbrush, flawless, and skin perfecting, I was sincerely hoping to be transformed into some magically gorgeous, porcelain skinned goddess. So, I suppose my expectations were maybe just a bit too high.

Even so, my overall conclusion is that this is a great product I’ve enjoyed using as part of my everyday routine, but when I use it all up, I’ll still be out there looking for my perfect match.

  1. I have been on the hunt for a good powder, I feel like the ones I use are fine, but they aren’t AMAZING! I was looking into this one…maybe I’ll keep perusing before ordering a new one! Great review! Thanks for sharing!
