Meet Me in St. Louey

This past weekend we went to St. Louis to visit Joe’s parents. They’ve had a condo in St. Charles for a couple years, but they just bought the most darling house in Chesterfield so we wanted to check it out. Chesterfield is more centrally located than St. Charles, so there were so many great places we could easily check out. We explored Clayton, which was an adorable area (& where we found this fountain), before heading to The Hill for dinner. The Hill is basically Little Italy in St. Louis, and I WISH it was in Louisville. The restaurants are  integrated with rows of homes, and everything is Italian.

We traversed to Anthoninos Tavern, which had both Italian and Greek delicacies on the menu. We ended up ordering the gyro pizza on Joe’s dad’s recommendation, and while I absolutely had my doubts, it tasted  delicious and we savored every bite of gyroey goodness. I can’t wait until our next visit to St. Louis so we can try out another Italian spot in The Hill.

I wore this off the shoulder top that I recently bought from a local boutique (you know I can not get enough, as I last talked about here) and these white shorts (which are currently on MAJOR sale for under $20). It was the perfect summer outfit because the weekend was so hot! I hope it cools down soon because I am collecting lots of fall goodies and dying for the opportunity to wear them!
