Eloping in Lake Como

I’ve been waiting with baited breathe for this moment! I’ve been so excited to share with you all some of the photographs from our beautiful day spent on Lake Como. Our photographer, Luca Rajna Progetti Fotografici (you can check out his instagram here), did such a phenomenal job capturing every magical moment of our elopement.

Our wedding day was everything Joe & I wanted – and yet the day was more perfect than we ever could have imagined. We started the day at our hotel, Relais Villa Vittoria, before heading off on our private boat to Villa del Balbianello. We exchanged vows we wrote ourselves on the gorgeous balcony (the same one from the Star Wars!), and sealed our marriage with a kiss! We then took photographs all throughout the grounds of the villa and the town of Ossuccio. We then spent an hour touring the lake, sipping Prosecco, and constantly giggling about how lucky we felt. When we arrived back to the hotel, Luca took us to the town of Brienno. The town was so quiet and still, it was like we had the city streets all to ourselves. The magical day ended when we headed back to our hotel for our private dinner in a beautiful gazebo covered in flowers, candles, and overlooking the serene lake. It was an extraordinary day!

It’s too hard to choose a favorite photograph, because Luca did such an amazing job. We’ve been scrolling through them nonstop since we’ve received them. Here are a few we wanted to share!

  1. These are absolute perfection, Kelsey! You two are models and belong in a magazine. I especially love the ones on the boat and under the arches! Ahhhhh congrats!
