Okay, so fall doesn’t officially start until September 23, but unofficially I feel like labor day marks the transition into the fall season. And I couldn’t be more excited – I have so many sweaters just sitting in my closet, BEGGING to be worn. I can’t wait for the air to get crisp, the leaves to change, and my first bite into something apple and/or pumpkin spiced.
I thought I would share with you some of my favorite pieces I’ve either bought or have my eye on for this upcoming season (hint hint: if it’s a long cardigan, my name is all over it). Let me know your favorites in the comments below.
\\ This tie sleeve sweater is sophisticated, yet the bow details on the sleeve add just the right amount of feminine detail. I also love the high neck.
\\ This blush clutch serves as a clutch or cross-body bag and it’s at a price point you just can’t miss. Plus, blush is a fall staple this season so this is a great & easy way to incorporate the color.
\\ These ripped jeans from Express hit all the marks. High waisted (check), fringe (check), distressed (check). You’ll want these in your fall wardrobe, stat.
\\ I’m obsessed with all of the long cardigans out there. This one from Old Navy is at a great price point and comes in three colors that are perfect for fall.
\\ I own these black distressed jeans from Express and have been waiting for a chilly night out to wear them. Luckily when we were in Chicago on Saturday, it was the perfect weather to pull them out!
\\ I’ve talked about this lantern sleeve sweater before and I still love it. Statement sleeves are everywhere this fall, and these have just enough shape without being too bold.
\\ This wrap kimono is the perfect layering piece for fall. It’s so versatile, you can pair it with a t-shirt, dress, blouse, or even a sweater.
\\ I had my eye on these blush, suede slipper flats for a while. They’re going to be the perfect addition to my fall wardrobe.
\\ If you’re looking for a bold, transitional bootie, this studded suede bootie will be just what you need. Nine west makes some of the most comfortable boots and I don’t think you can go wrong with this navy color either.
